Welcome!

So you want to know how to print t-shirts or posters, or perhaps you want to start your own print shop. Very smart choice! Whether you’re starting in your garage or a large warehouse space, screen printing is a business that can start small and grow quickly with your expanding customer base. Nowadays there are hardly any limits to what you can print on. Most screen printers begin printing t-shirts and gig posters but move up to printing on pens, bags, even street signs and urinal pads! Yes! Urinal pads! Maybe you’re an artist and you want a way to mass produce your art and share it with the world. Or maybe you just want to do something fun as a hobby. Screen printing can be all of those things and I’d like to show you how to do it.

About the author

avatarMy name is Casey Kleypas and I have been in the screen printing industry since 2007, first as a production artist and later as an art director. That may not sound like a long time but since then I have worked with VERY different screen printing companies and worked on thousands and thousands of print jobs from tiny customers to huge epic companies. I love attending screen printing trade shows and classes and talking to countless others in the screen printing industry to learn all of the tricks of the trade.

A couple of years after getting into screen printing, I was teaching children how to print t-shirts at a summer camp here in Texas. I was blown away by how fun it was to teach others screen printing. Teaching and screen printing are two subjects that I have a passion for and I thought “why not combine the two into a blog?”. I’ve always dreamed of running my own print shop at home where I could make posters and t-shirts all day. So that is my grand plan and I invite you to follow along with me on my journey to print-at-home greatness. I may not know everything about screen printing (not even close) but I have a head start and I love to share what I know with others. Everything that I know now or research on my own will be delivered right to your eyeballs on this blog so that you can become the greatest screen printer you can be and create your own print shop at home along with me.

I strive to bring my readers the most up to date and useful tools to help them succeed. My number one goal for this blog is to educate users who are curious about how to print t-shirts or starting up their own screen printing companies. I would never attempt to endorse products or services that I haven’t used or at least researched heavily.

This simply means that at no extra cost to you, I will earn a commission from that company should you decide to purchase from that link. You are under no obligation to purchase any products or services you see on this site, but if they interest you, please know that these affiliate commissions help support this blog and will help it to grow and reach others.
